Schedule of Events

We will be hosting wedding festivities from October 7 - 9 of the year 2026 AD, with a few extra opportunities to hang in the days following. Here is an outline of the plan as it stands now, which is subject to change:

October 7, 2026 (Wednesday)

VRBO Check-In & Pre-Wedding Dinner

If you'll be staying at our VRBO (see below), check-in will be after 3 PM. We'll be checking into the house before dinner to get settled, and you are welcome to join.

A pre-wedding dinner will commence at 7:15 PM at Olivia's Bistro in Newton, MA. The address is 136 Adams St, Newton, MA 02458. There is a vegan menu available, but if you have other dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance and we'll make sure you're taken care of.

October 8, 2026 (Thursday)

Ceremony & Backyard BBQ

Our wedding day (maybe)! We're planning to have a very small ceremony in the early afternoon, weather permitting. Thankfully, it never rains in Boston, but to be extra prepared, we've factored in a rain date (keep reading to learn more). The ceremony will take place in Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain at a specific picturesque spot of our choosing (TBA).

The Details™ (Subject to Change):

Meet at the Arboretum at 1:30 PM, then we'll walk to the spot where we'll have the ceremony together. The ceremony should begin a little after 2 PM, and we don't anticipate it taking more than an hour max. In the next few days (once we solidify the exact ceremony spot), we'll let you know which Arboretum entrance to meet us at.

After the ceremony (around 3 - 3:30ish), we'll head back to our backyard to eat cake, which is a close walk from the Arboretum. After cake (dessert first), we'll have a nice little backyard hang and vegan-friendly BBQ, try our best to get a fire pit going, and a few of our closest Boston friends may swing by.

Important!

While this is the schedule we're aiming for, we may have to shift things around a bit according to the weather. If you could be available to meet as early as 12 PM (just in case), we would appreciate it! We'll let you know as soon as possible if it seems like we'll need to make any timing adjustments. October 9, 2026 (Friday)

Post-Wedding Brunch (Or Rain Date!)

A nice little brunch to wrap things up and because we love to eat food. Brunching will occur at Veggie Galaxy at 12 PM, which is specifically located at 450 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139. All are welcome and we made a reservation for 13, but if you don't want to or can't come to the brunch, just let us know ahead of time and we can adjust the rez.

After brunch, you are free to do whatever you want! You are always free to do whatever you want because you have free will, but scheduling-wise, there will be nothing planned for this evening. We encourage you to "explore the space" (Boston), and we've listed some of our favorite things to do here.

Important!

October 9 will be our rain date, so if it does rain on October 8, we'll swap activities for the two days. This means if it rains, October 8 will become our brunch + free will day and October 9 will be our ceremony + BBQ day. We ask that you remain available through the evening of October 9 in case this happens so you can join us for all festivities!

October 10 - 13, 2026

Post-Wedding Hangs on Cape Cod

(If you're staying at our VRBO, check out will be on October 10 at 10:30 AM)

Julian and Sam will be running the Cape Cod marathon for some reason on October 11, so we're going to spend the long weekend after the wedding on the Cape. Anyone is welcome to come hang if you're not sick of us yet, but we rented a smaller place for this trip, so just let us know if you plan to come and need a place to stay so we can make sure we can accommodate (or help you find something else). We'll be staying in Mashpee, checking in the afternoon of the 10th, and checking out the morning of the 13th.
